Priority Status and Exemptions
The following priority and exemptions with regards to a player’s entry will be used to fill the CN Canadian Women’s Tour fields. Applications with priority status and exemptions will be accepted automatically into the field (see ‘note’ for professional and amateur priority status). Additional applicants will be accepted on a ‘first received, first accepted’ basis and if the number of applicants exceeds 90 individuals and/or 18 amateurs respectively an alternates list will be established accordingly. If the field reaches 90 competitors, the amateur component of the field will not exceed 18 competitors. If however the final field size is less than 90 competitors, the amateur component of the field may exceed 18 competitors.
Note: All players with priority status and exemptions must register before the tournament deadline and are required to pay registration fees.
Professional Priority Status:
- Winners of a CN Canadian Women’s Tour the last 2 seasons
- Top 10 and ties from the previous season's CN Canadian Women’s Tour events
- Winners of an LPGA Symetra Tour the last 2 seasons
- Players with LPGA priority status for standard eligibility tournaments
- Players listed on the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings (as of the event deadline)
- Top 10 and ties from the first CN Canadian Women’s Tour event in the current year
Note: In the event there is more than 72 professional players registered with priority status, selection will be based on a ‘first received, first accepted’ basis
Amateur Priority Status:
- Current Team Canada National Squad members
- Current Team Canada Development Squad members
- Players currently listed on the Women’s World Amateur Rankings – top 100 (as of the event deadline)
- Top 10 and ties from the previous year's CN Canadian Women’s Tour events
- Top 10 and ties from the first CN Canadian Women’s Tour event in the current year
- Top 20 and ties from the previous year's Canadian Women’s National Order of Merit
Note: In the event there are more than 18 amateur players registered with priority status, selection will be based on the order of priority listed above
Exemptions:
- CN Future Links: Winners of the 2013 CN Future Links Pacific and 2013 CN Future Links Ontario Championships will be given an exemption into one (1) CN Canadian Women’s Tour event in 2013.
- The Cactus Tour: The 2013 Leading Money Winner on the Cactus Tour (Series 1, winter - spring) will be given an exemption into one (1) CN Canadian Women’s Tour event in 2013.
