Tour Information
Welcome to the 2010 CN Canadian Women’s Tour!
The 2010 tour schedule offers great golf courses and remarkable host cities. This season the CN Canadian Women’s Tour is proud to be hosting championships in Vancouver, the greater Toronto area, and Ottawa.
The CN Canadian Women’s Tour offers a great forum in which to hone your competitive edge while competing for exemptions into the 2010 CN Canadian Women’s Open. You could be only a few rounds of golf away from competing on the LPGA Tour!
Awards and Exemptions
The CN Canadian Women’s Tour once again offers exciting opportunities for entry, via exemptions, into the 2010 CN Canadian Women’s Open, August 23 - 29 at St. Charles Country Club in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Exemptions will be awarded to the Champions of the three (3) events and to the top three (3) competitors, not otherwise exempt, on the Order of Merit at the conclusion of the final tour event.
New for 2010, the top three (3) on the season ending Order of Merit standings at the conclusion of the final tour event will be awarded direct entry and entry fee paid directly into both LPGA Sectional Qualifying Tournaments (a $5,000 value each!).
In addition, any winner from the three (3) CN Canadian Women's Tour events will be eligible to play in Duramed Futures Tour events for the 2010 season.
Player Development
Conducted by Golf Canada and sanctioned by the Canadian Professional Golfers’ Association (CPGA), the CN Canadian Women’s Tour is a developmental series for Canadian and international female professionals, as well as top amateur and junior golfers.
The CN Canadian Women’s Tour has played an instrumental role in developing the careers of many of our country’s top women golfers including LPGA Tour players Alena Sharp and Lorie Kane. In addition, the CN Canadian Women’s Tour encourages up-and-coming golfers by welcoming amateurs and top juniors to compete with professionals in tour events.
